OPPOSITES ATTRACT! In this lesson, the students learned about primary and secondary colors, Mixing colors on a palette and complimentary colors. Students created landscapes that utilized complimentary colors in order to make their paintings "pop".
PEOPLE AND CARTOONING!! In this project, we learned about drawing people, proportions, and features. Students then designed their own cartoon characters!!
This week (April 19th) students looked at the work of MC Escher for inspiration and developed their own patterns. They drew their designs in oil pastels and then added watercolors over the top to fill the white space in the background and make the pastel colors "pop"!
